Vikas Kapoor
Organization: AllianceBernstein


Vikas Kapoor is Head of AB Hedge Fund Solutions. He joined the firm in 2016. Previously, Kapoor was co-CEO and part owner of Ramius Alternative Solutions, which was acquired by AB in 2016. Before Ramius, he was a managing director at Arden Asset Management, focusing on portfolio construction and risk management, and was a member of Arden's Investment and Management Committee. Earlier in his career, Kapoor was managing director of Deutsche Bank's Absolute Return Strategies Group, where he headed the Quantitative Analysis and Applications Group. Kapoor holds an MS in computational finance from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA (Hons) in finance from Tulane University and aBTech in mechanical engineering from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra, India. Steven Novakovic
Organization: CAIA Association


Steve Novakovic, CAIA, CFA is the Managing Director, CAIA Curriculum for CAIA Association. In this role, he is responsible for managing the CAIA Charter curriculum, ensuring the content remains relevant and reflects current trends in the institutional asset allocator space. He joined CAIA Association in 2022 and has been a Charterholder since 2011. Prior to CAIA Association, Steve was a faculty member at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, where he taught a variety of finance courses including: Cryptocurrencies, Alternative Asset Management, and Wealth Management, among others. Before entering academia, he worked at his alma mater, Cornell University, (B.S. 2004, MPS 2006) in the Office of University Investments. In his time at Cornell University, Steve invested across a variety of asset classes for the $6 billion endowment. His twelve years at Cornell generated substantial insight into endowment management and fund investing across the alternatives and traditional landscape.


Seth Weingram
Organization: Acadian Asset Management


Seth is Acadian’s Director of Client Advisory, a team that produces original research on topical issues in systematic investing and regularly meets with key clients, consultants, and prospects. Seth also chairs Acadian’s Editorial Board, driving the firm’s thought leadership. Prior to joining Acadian in 2014, Seth held senior roles in equity derivatives trading, research, and strategy at UBS, Barclays Global Investors, and Deutsche Bank. Seth holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and a B.A. in economics from the University of Chicago.
